VIN info and history

Does anyone know how to look up where your car was originally sold at, how much and options, etc using the VIN number ? Does Mazda retain a copy of the window sticker on file somewhere that I could could get a copy ?

you might be able to ask Mazda about where it was originally sold.

There's a forum member who makes window stickers for like $5 too.

Mazdausa.com had a thing where you could register with them and with the VIN you'd learn some about the option packages and original configuration.

Terms of sale I believe would only be with the records of the dealer and original purchaser. I doubt Mazda would care about much more than the invoice price.

You should be able to go to the local Mazda dealer with your VIN and ask for a "warranty history report" on the car.

I used to do this with all the FDs I had. It was great info, it would list where the car was sold, to whom it was sold to and what work was done to it under warranty, the option package, original color and interior type, etc. If I had a FD with 80k miles and I found out the turbos were replaced under warranty @ 40k, good news!
