Video: Who’s FD is this? I have some quick questions.

I found this vid and I had some questions. The brief description doesn’t tell much about the engine and exhaust. This has to be one of the most “throaty” FD’s I have ever heard, I was hoping I could get some more detail on the custom setup.

Also, the BOV sounds killer, what is it? It looks like the Tial one, but I can’t really tell from the vid.

Note to the owner: Awesome FD!

These are just guesses but:

1) it's a 4" exhaust
2) it's got big ports possibly (probably?) a bridge.
3) magnaflow, not a can.

Edit: i doubt there are any emissions devices mucking with the sound. The engine bay is spartan.

I to have custom 4" full exhaust with a magnaflow muffler, 4" random technolgy cat and it pretty much sounds the same.

Yes its goodfellas car and its running a 4 inch turbo back exhaust that was also made by aspec. I believe they used all magnaflow componets. The porting on that engine is a LARGE streetport with too much overlap

Thumbs up

Lol, nice.

My little brother (bridgeported 12a) posted that vid of my FD up for me, but for some reason it initially had no sound, so I didn't post the link for you guys. Obviously the sound is there now .

Lots of pics in this thread, on page 1, 10 and 17.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...1&page=1&pp=15

No emissions on the car, full 4 inch exhaust with a pair of magnaflow mufflers (one center, one rear) terminating in a 5 inch magnaflow tip. Tial BOV.

Also, I plan to move the exhaust tip inward about 3-4 inches. The exhaust has flex sleeves in between each section (dp to mp and mp to cb) so there is a lot of front to back adjustment available.
