Vent/Charcoal canister line
I have an aftermarket fuel kit, but left the vent/charcoal canister line open, is there any way of plugging this line or can I just leave it open, by the way the car is single turbo with a Microtech, could this cause a fuel odor?
dont cap it! leave it open or the canister might crack. the charcoal canister soaks up fuel vapor from the tank. If you want to delete altogether you can but leaving the tank venting to atmosphere back there seems like a bad idea.
Not that I care about the environment much, but venting it to the atmosphere will not effect the environment in a negative way, but you'd also be wasting gas for a non-existent performance gain.

Unless you plan on removing it strictly for weight purposes, I see no reason why you shouldn't keep it.

I had a problem where the line between the canister and catch tank split. Smelled strongly of gasoline sometimes. While it probably wasn't ever going to reach a flammable concentration I don't recommend it.

There really is no reason you should disconnect the fuel evaporation if you still have the means to keep it plugged in.
