Vacuum hoses..
I started doing the vacuum hose job today and it was a lot easier than I had feared! But I came up with a few questions:
- My purge control check valve flows both ways. It's not suposed to do that, is it? (see pic.)
- The pressure sensor gas filter also flows both ways. I think it's supposed to do that, but I would really like to hear it from someone who knows!
- I've heard that there is supposed to be some pills in some of the vacuum hoses. Where? I wouldn't want to miss one..

I just finished doing my vacuum hose job last week. I don't think it was as hard as everyone says it is, but it was a lot harder to put back together than it was to take it apart. My favorite part was putting the phillips head screws back in that hold the solenoid rack.
To answer your questions:
The purge control valve should not flow both ways. I know mine only flowed one way.
From what research I did, I found that the gas filter on the pressure sensor line is supposed to flow both ways. Mine did flow both ways.
I haven't replaced the hoses connected to the turbos yet... I just did the ones under the entension manifold. I believe the lines with the pills are the ones connected to the turbos. Check out this diagram if you haven't already. I think they're labeled on it.
