vacuum hose replacement intervals?

This may be a stupid question but after the stock hoses have been replaced with silicone ones, how long untill the silicones need to be replaced again? sorry if this question is just beyong stupid.

quite a long time. silicone is good to about 500F so the heat doesnt bother it much. its sensitive to oil and to tearing and abrasion though. lets see the stock hoses last about 6-7 years conservatively so lets guess the silicone will last at least 10. so probably longer than youll have the car.
