vacuum drops after fuel pump install?

here's my problem: I have been driving around for about a month on the stock pump for my break in period. I finally got around to installing my supra pump today, and as i was driving it around the idle dropped to ~1000 form the usual idle of ~1600.
there was almost no vacuum so i revved it up a bit. idled back to 1600 and only had about 2-3 inches.

it has alwys sat around 6-9 before, why would just a FP do this? any ideas?

mods are: half bridge, 850 primary inj. 1600 sec. aeromotive FPR, supra pump.

thats all that would matter for this problem i believe.

Thanks for the help,

Nathan

The way a FP change can affect the engine at idle is if the baseline fuel pressure has changed .

A fuel pressure gauge is another MUST have gauge like boost and water temp.

normal idle should be 750 or 500-1000 with a/c load. varies with porting.
