vacuum check valves
I've been testing my vacuum check valves by connecting a piece of hose to them and blowing through them, (I dont know why I did not use the mitty vac that is sitting on my garage floor). Anyways, they all allow air to flow in the right direction and prevent air from flowing in the wrong direction. But it is very hard to blow through the check valves in the correct direction. How easily are they supposed to flow?
Also... there was one check valve that was a different color/shape. Most of them were green and white. I forgot what color the odd one was. It connected to the front of the underside of the extension manifold (where there are 4 hoses next to each other). When I blew through it, it made a noise, is this normal?
thanks for the help
oh yeah... i also found out i was missing a couple of check valves, does anybody have extras they would sell to me? People who went single turbo or non-seq should have a bunch of these sitting around
