Vaccum Line Simplification Mod

Hello,

I've searched websites, archives etc. I am looking for the vaccum line simplification writeup/diagram. Can someone point me in the write direction?

It's strange, but when I go WOT through first, and then into 2nd, I loose boost. It comes back on in 3rd usually. Or if I just roll into it in 2nd it's fine. Either way, I'm sure the lines that are 12 years old are ready for replacement. I've found the writeups to replace all the lines, but I don't want to do that. Also, any advice on how much line and what size/where to buy from would be helpful. Thanks.

Excellent! Thanks so much.

Does anyone know how much and what diameter I'll need?
Also, any other gaskets i'll need as a result of doing this mod? I notice pulling the intake mani, so I assume a plenum gasket. Anything else?

Thanks!

I'd also like to know what lengths people had to use or lengths and Diameter will be enough

Well, the previous poster had led me to a site, but accidentally linked to a Supra "Kit" which is why I posed the question. After a little searching I found the RX7 kit. In all likelihood, since I'll be removing a plethera of hoses, I won't need near as much as I'll get. However, I went ahead and forked over 100 bucks for tiny hoses in hopes that it alleviates my boost issues.

I still would like to know of any other seals/gaskets that I should buy before I do this. Any guidance would be appreciated. I should also mention I'm new to these cars. I haven't done any mods yet. Just upgraded the brake pads, and changed all the fluids. Thanks.

The $35 universal mini-kit hightempsilicone sells would be enough.

Take a look at Dale's Viton check valves...

Also consider a MityVac Silverline Plus Automotive test kit (has vaccuum and pressure switch) for testing check valves, solenoids, actuators and guages.

A couple of other usefull sites...
