vaccum leak? please help~^^

Hi everyone~ I'm a newbie that just join the RX7 family. I did search the forum but just can't find the right answer.....the car Runs and drives good, but after warm up the idle surges between (1500~1800), but If electrical devices (fan, lights etc . are in use, idle steady around 2000rpm. please advise~ Thanks in advence

i got the same problem, and my car is allmost stock "except catback and openfilter". Ive ordered myself and Pfc to see if its my ecu that is messing around..... I got my rx7 from Japan, dont know if they are flashed my ecu or not

sounds like lack of air past the throttle plates causing the ECU to try and fix the idle,,,,id suggest adjusting the idle speed control up a bit (located in the throttle body,,, some one may need to show u a picture of this,,,,or try do a search),, think this will fix your problem,,,,

It could be a problem with the Throttle Body adjustment, or it could be a problem with Idle Speed Control valve itself. It is most likely not a vacuum leak, as the stock ECU will compensate for this and correct the idle.
