one consideration for stock twins when it comes to any intercooler upgrade is the core size and air flow. bigger the core, the better the cooling efficiency, but more turbo lag and slower response.

the HKS vmount is nice considering easier to swap your radiator if it ever gets damaged, but at the same time it uses a 3 row intercooler, which is more for large single turbo application. its really not necessary to use a 3 row for stock twins. but for the price of a IC only kit, it's a bit pricy

I got my Knightsports Vmount from FDNewbie late last year. they're a great source on the forum to import any parts for you from japan. i love this kit. The core size is perfect for stock twins but the only downside i have is it requires all ducting to be custom made. where HKS, Revo tune comes w/ ducting plates. the KS is pretty easy to install and retains your A/C. each kit have its hits and misses

JDM v-mount kits are cleaner setups than custom vmount kits. But looking FDNewbie's prototype and rx7store's, i would get theirs if i hadn't got a vmount already. Great craftsmanship at a great price and w/out the overseas shipping price..

Yeah I liked his rad setup and splitter. Didn't like the I/C setup as much as the RE version but that's just looks. All VMIC are pretty similar in performance, which is GREAT.

i saw that vmic in person and was very impressed by the quality of work. i myself am a fabricator(not for profession) and hope that i am that good one day. i have brilliant ideas but the execution might not be as good as his.
