V mount setup
Hello everyone, Im trying to figure out the specs and all the mods needed to get your fd3s into V-Mount mode
i know there are a couple of essentials that have to be follow throught but id want someone's opinion that allready has done the mod or currently has it on his car.
Basically i know you got to
1) get a V mount intercooler,
2) get a V mount radiator
3) get a vented hood
4) relocate battery (depending from which company the v-mount IC was bought)
First off, i got a fluidine radiator and i know that just by setting it bad up the fans are blowing the air in the wrong direction, so that causes a problem, instead of blowing the air up its blowing it down. So i know that my fluydine radiator might have to go . Next off i heard that the A/C needs to be removed but rolling in 200+ F in summer is not fun without A/C and i dont want to melt since my car is black and black interior..... sitting in it, feels like a sauna sometimes (i got no more freon in my A/C , that is i think... )
So what i wanted to know is exacly what could be my options. Id definitly want to keep the A/C and my fluidyne radiator, so if any1 can enlighten me please do.
Cheers
