used FD's

I'm looking for a used FD around my area... is there anything I should look for especially when I shop around? Also I've heard about engine rebuilding and such things... is that only after a certain milage... I'm looking for mainly a stock one because I want to tune it my self ground up... What is the milage that I'm looking around on a used FD???

If an RX is taken care of, oil changes every 2,000 miles etc it can last very well above 100,000 KM. So I suggest that you find one with less than 50,000 KM or so.

As regards the mods I agree that you try to find a stock one because a heavily modified rotary can be difficult to maintain.

Good Luck.

everytime

Everytime you overhaul an engine, you cuting the life out of it.
If you dont port it and just go stock. 80,000km side port maybe
60,000km. Then means just changing the oil one every month, and everytime after you race, if you drift or drive curcuit at all.

GOOD LUCK
