US non-Cali ECU into euro-spec FD

I questioned whether it is possible to install a non-Cali 1993 ECU into my euro-spec 1993 FD and didn't get any definitive positive answer some time back.

On Friday I installed M2 Stage3 ECU and it works fine. What fine... it actually works better then my stock ECU. I suspect that M2 tuned a bit leaner down low as I'm getting better throttle response below boost then before.

All in all.... it rocks to drive at 12psi

I think that the Apexi Power FC is the same unit for all FD's (J-spec, US, Europe etc.) so perhaps stock ECU's from various locations are interchangable.

Only problem was EGR, as euro FDs don't have one and someone on the forum said the connector for the EGR would control FPR on euro-FD.
