Just want to make sure my fans are coming on when they are supposed to. THank you. BTW, I checked the manual and it doesn't say.

I think

95 with a/c on fan1
99 with a/c off fan1
105 fan2

personally I think a little late...

According to service manual low speed fans come on between 221-226F this is controlled by ECU, there is a 226F thermoswitch switch that when temp is reached will turn fans on med speed, high speed fans only come on when A/C is activated. But if you install a real temp guage and put the temp sender at the thermostat housing you will see that fans actually turn on at 230F for low speed instead of between 221-226F.Which might explain all the over heating problems.

Changing fan on temp with datalogit

Guys, if you have the datalogit (plus a PFC of course) you could have changed your fan temp on to whatever temp you want.

My car usually runs at 210 in traffic; now it's 195F because I set the fan to come on at 95C w/o AC and 90 with AC.

The car is happy at 195-200.
