Search RX7 bumper lights on ebay and you'll find plenty of them for like $40-$50 shipped. That's what I did and I'm very happy with the results, perfect fit, function, and looks.

I bought mine from rx7.com apparently before they sold out. i got the smoked ones and then used a dark translucent paint from Oreilly's that is used to smoke tail lights after wet sanding and polishing them they came out awesome! I think the one rx7.com sells are the same as the ones on ebay or very similar however i dont mind spending a little more to give Chris and Ari my business they have been the best business i have ever dealt with PERIOD

After some idiot stuffed up my brand new oem turnlamp lenses with black silicone, I decided to try these and bought the one with clear lens and black background.

Just be careful when buying these ebay turnlamps. There are three versions and it's not mentioned in some of the ads/listings.

1- Clear lens, chrome background
2- Clear lens, black background
3- Smoked lens

Although some pics not very clear looks like all three versions are pictured in this thread but from all pics in other threads, smoked and clear/chrome seems to be the more popular styles.

 

Yeah that was my concern but fortunatly I was able to get what I wanted black inserts and smoke lenses which I think go well with the black R1 front spoiler.

nope, just a 93 former SSM car that has all the 99 spec bits (front bumper, taillights, spoiler and recaro rz's). It got that paint job a few years ago, it's not even the factory dark grey, whatever it was called.

Stock Miata type lenses look like ***. You either get these or a 99 spec bumper.

 

Just a little update:
My brother dropped his ******* motorcycle against my car and broke the passenger side lens. so I ordered a set from the ebay link Mahjik posted. Same exact lights, DOT approved same manufacturer and part #. So for $50 they are the same awesome lights. RX7.com was charging an extra $100 on top of that. ******* ******.

 

Daaaaamn. That's BS. I had a pair of those that I let my friend borrow while my car is down. They do look great.

 

I believe the lamp is from Taiwan Company Depo Auto Lamp.

I bought the clear lens type and painted it with lens spray. 2+ years with no problem.

I did the stock smoked lens years ago and later did the upgraded smoked turn signals. I can tell you with first hand experience, it's not the same look on the car.

 

The ebay DEPOT lights are priced right but fwiw one failed on my car during it's second driving season. Condensation formed inside and marks from the drips were visable. Mine were the smoked/clear variety as seen in the red car above. Maybe if they had been the dark smoked variety the drips wouldn't have been as visible.
Second set have held up a year later.
