Update on rebuild

About a month ago I introduced myself, and I told you guys about my blown engine. Well a month later and $4300 poorer, I picked up my Street Ported engine from Mazdatrix. Those guys were awsome, very nice, professional, and the engine looks great. Im attaching pics of my engine, HKS manifold T04S setup, and better pics of my car. I ordered my fuel system from RX7store.net, and need to order the Power FC when i get the money hehe. Hope you enjoy!!!

wow... what did you have done to the engine, besides a street port, to bring the rebuild cost to $4,300?

He rebuilt it RIGHT.

You get two new rotor housings, rotors milled out for 3mm seals, streetport, that's no $2200 rebuild.

The title "Update on rebuild" was very misleading and I thought he was talking about something totally unrelated. Thanks captain obvious! You = t3h winnAr!

I can see how that totals to $4,300 considering the price of brand new rotor housings. The price seemed high since most people dont get new rotor housings everytime an engine is rebuilt. Thats why I asked. Thanks for clearing that up.

yeah sorry, guess i should have mentioned the new rotor housings, $600 each. The rebuild is done all the way, wanted to build a dependable engine. New rotor housing, everything relapped, new seals, new bearings, the list is pretty long on the work sheet hehe.
