Unstorage issue (3 weeks): running on one rotor!

Hi, I stored my FD for 3 weeks. I did nothing (didn't even unplug the battery).

I started it, and it's running on one rotor ?! Was running fine when I stored it...

Single turbo
PFC
20w50

Any idea where I should start?

Did you check to see both primary injectors are firing .

And are the spark plug wires connected to both the spark plugs and coils.

Sometimes in storage a little animal can nibble away .

MuRCieLaGo .. check your spark plugs(for fouling) first then...find out which rotor is not working then test your coils, for spark...it may be anything from dirty injector,a fouled plug,a bad wire(or loose)wire on your plugs to a bad coil ,or even a build up of carbon on the apex seal(carbon lock)..also have some one do a (rotory)compression test on the dead rotor to make sure its not a damaged seal

1- Check for Spark
2- Check for Fuel
3- Compression Check

IF YOU ARE GOOD IN THE COMPRESSION STEP.
-you have spark
-you have fuel

Drive it normal until the stuck seal loosens or you re-gain compression back.

Might have a stuck seal. Let it warm up and run some water through it?

Thanks a lot for the advices people!

I lightly unplugged the leading spark plug wire (front rotor) and the car is running on both rotor. If I completely insert the wire in the spark plug, the car runs on one rotor. Never saw that kind of problem before... I'm wondering if it's the wire OR the plug... But I'm so happy it's not one of the seals!

Swap the plug wires from the trailing to the leading to weed out the bad wire . Also check your ignition related connections by the clutch master cylinder for any sings of grounded wires or animal chews lol
