Unique problem you have never seen B 4
[B]Yeah I wouldn't rebuild the auto tranny. no way, for all that I would get a manual conversion but you guys understand, I came across a 3rd Gen w/ all reliability mods and new reman engine w/ 5k on it. aftermarket rims, exhaust, etc. I couldnt help myself.
[B]it really doesnt seem like the transmission though. It's like.. It runs but hesitates and when its floored it just doesnt have that boost. RPM's skyrocket and it just wont go fast. WTF i dunno.
if your idle vac is good, but you cant get above 0psi, the only thign i can see being the problem is the wastegateflapper beign disattached from the actuator, either that or one hell of a boost leak. the only time i maxxed at 0 psi was in limp mode but you have a pfc so that's out of the question. check your fuel pump relay, maybe it's not switching over to the higher volt( i forget what) input to your fuel pump. the low input only allows like 1 psi at most, but really more around 0. limp mode makes sure the fuel pump receives the lower of the 2 inputs.
i guess if the flappers are connected and **** chcek the relay. theres a way to jump it so it's always on the max input to the fuel pump. i think you just jump it in the diagnostic box i think that automatically turns it on full power. leave the jumper in and drive it.

[QUOTE=Sr20fd3st i can see being the problem is the wastegateflapper
possibly disconnected inside? outside clip and arm secured ok

Fuel pressure is normal according to the regulator.
Tested all the solenoids with a mighty vac and 12v source,(after heating them in the oven to replicate real world)
the switching and releif solenoids would not release pressure so I replaced those two,the egr had one broken nipple the switching solenoid had a split in a vacuum line and after a few hours I,m pretty confident all of the solenoids checked out.
By default I have checked over all the vacuum lines...bar 3,there is one that goes south from the y pipe and under the fuel rail and two that go from the base of the fuel rail to the rats nest what is horrifying is I,m still finding holes but not THE hole...yet!
Going out of town for a few days so I will post back with the results.
