Yes I hope this furom helps, my 3rd just flooded on me, what are my steps to unflood it and get is started back up. I drive the car in less then a minute and turned it off. Next thing i started it, it flooded bad. Will it dry up overnight if i let it sit???

 

search for unflooding or flooded, ect. You'll find tons of things on how to. Good luck

 

yes it will dry up...take out both leading plugs and the fuse(not sure which one its called, but the 3rd one from the front of the car back) i think its green. and than try to start the car so you dont hydro lock the motor. than put the plugs back in...it should start than. if the seals dry out just put ATF into the lower intake manifold, let it sit for a couple than crank again.

if you have a leak in your exhaust the gas will poor out of there.

Just pull the fuel pump relay and give a few cranks, put it back in and should start up. You can pull the plugs as well. Doesn't hurt to have a fresh set of plugs if they are fouled up.

 

1. let engine warm up after every start; the startup oil and gas tend (on the next cold start) to cause hard starts and flood behavior.
2. Normal deflood procedure, hold accelerator to the floor and crank; the computer is supposed to cut off new fuel
3. Starting ether through a hose into the fitting on the ?intake plenum? while cranking, keep cranking and ethering until 4000 rpm, let warm thouroughly. Mechanic did this when above did not work for me. worked well.
