Uneven boost/hesitation

Ok, got the car started up after 11 weeks down, seems to be boosting fine, everything works all right except for I have a hose disconnected, as seen in the "Mystery hose" thread. It makes a chirping sound sometimes around 3k rpm, and it can drone if left right in a specific rev range around there. I just noticed the other day that at WOT in 2nd or 3rd gear, starting around 2k rpm, the boost will not be a smooth pull. It sort of feels uneven, like it accelerates hard, then a little less, then hard again, etc. As soon as the 2nd turbo comes on, its a smooth strong pull all the way to redline. 1st gear feels fine, probably because it goes by too fast to tell. This problem only seems to happen sometimes also.

Try some new spark plugs if you haven't changed them recently.

Ok, after a few more days, I've definitely noticed hesitation and bucking during about half throttle or more. It does only seem to occur from about 2000 to 4500 rpm, until the secondary turbo comes on. It also feels like it may not be making full boost. I won't be able to take it to Rick for a while either, as I am between jobs. It's a livable problem, but if it's something I can easily take care of myself, I'll try it. It may be the grounds as mentioned earlier, as I put the car back together myself and probably didn't put them in the exact right place.
