underbonnet whistling

Got a really strange whistling noise coming from my turbos....only hear it after 18oo rpm....its driving me crazy.....only noticed it after my filters dried when I accidently had hot coolant spill over my engine......anybody have any ideas...as I doubt the coolant thing is the issue.

I have checked all my hoses and they appear ok.

Thanks

Ed

I assume you don't have the stock intake? Cleaning it could allow it to flow more air, which would allow the turbos to spool faster, and you'd hear them more as well. I noticed a big difference in turbo noise when I put my intake on, I could hear them whistling away.

Did you do anything else to the car recently (downpipe?).

Take the bird out from under your hat!

Seriously though...if you just recently put a DP on, that would be the source of the whistling. If not, double check that your intake box is closed properly and that all of the hoses to it are connected on both sides.
