Unburned fuel

My car emits a lot of unburned fuel. Is this normal for all rx-7's or my car seems to have a problem? Also I only have a cat Back and intake installed in my car but the boost on my boost gauge is 0.9kg/cm3=13 psi. Are my turbos generating a lot of boost with only 2 modifications or is this also normal?

if you dont have any sort of fuel managment on your car and u are hitting 13psi u better turn the boost down to stock level which is 10 or you will blow your motor

Rotaries in general spit out more unburned fuel than pistons. Make sure that this unburned fuel is coming out your tailpipe and not from a leaky FPD.

And kahren is right - if you are hitting 13psi with a stock ecu, you are pushing detonation limits. I would suggest some sort of boost controller (manual [Home Depot] or electronic [i.e. HKS]).

Ouijan: All a boost controller can do is raise the boost! I'm not too familiar with the TT wastegate controls, but i'm pretty sure it will take more than that!
