UIM torque and sequence

did a search and kept finding info on the tq strut brace. i need to find out the TQ and sequence for tightening down the UIM. i have an in. lb. TQ wrench and a ft. lb. let me know both ways. thanks guys.

im not sure if this is what is recommended but its what i did. i tightened the bolts starting from the inside one out. i just hand tightened them until i felt that they were on there tight enough. sorry but i dont have any actual figures for ya

yeah, go inside outward. I believe the shop manual says torque to 14-19 ft-lbs. Hope that helps

TQ spec: 12-16 ft-lbs
Sequence: Don't know, I had heard there was one but could'nt find any reference in the Mazda manual.

Specs where found on page c-86 in the engine portion of the mazda manual.
