UIM connectors

I unhooked the two connectors on the front passenger side of the UIM (the two identical ones), and left them disconnected for a few weeks. How can you tell which goes on which side? The pages in the shop manual I was looking at don't really give a good idea as to which one goes where.

Just wanted to double check.

One connector & one solnoid both have white dots painted on them.
Standing in front of the car, looking at the motor, it will be the one on the right.

otherwise...... hook them up & drive the car again. Check out the transition at 4.5k rpm (boost drop & recovery). Swap the plugs & try the same drive test again.
There will be a differance if it's not hooked up properly

Awesome! Going to take a look right now.

Out of curiosity, what are the connectors for?

Why PM when you can share that wealth of knowledge here on the forum for everyone to see?

Edit: i'm not trying to be smart (i reread it and that's what it seems like)...Just figure it's better to follow through with the diagnosis here so if someone runs into the same thing then it's right here
