While we were working on my fd the shifter was removed to do some work in the interior, during this time a bolt that held the top of the actual shifter was dropped into the transmission through the shifter gate area. Is this area of the transmission blocked off like many cars? Or is that bolt going to end up between a couple gears and cause major ****?

 

You need to get the bolt out before you run the car again. Remove your shifter assembly and fish around in there with a magnet to see if you can find it.
