For TwinTurbo Teddy and others

Hey TTT i agree with u (commen sence) and since u call ur self a vet. i will ask u some questions. First off i am a newbie but i have liked the seven since i was 15 i've done research but never face to face talking to people i'm based on heat. everyone know the 13B runs hot and the fuel line that runs between the two tubros(thats a good place to put it) brakes now i was thinking of heat wraping the manafoldsto keep the heat in the pipe but would that melt the turbines? and i've heard another source of heat is in the the sequencal(spelling) element which sequences the turbo. people have said u can replace this with a non-sequencal element. where could i get one or would it be wise? b/c how it going the prime turbo goes first then the secondary kicks in and higher revs, so going non seq. would result in longer lag b/c its pushing both turbos at the same time which sould be better for top end. If u could ans these questions i think there better than the adverage newbie and anyother advise on battling the heat i'm 18 and have owned two miata's in the past and decided to step it up a knoch and this rx7 wont be flying into a ditch contrebuting to the final 50 rx7
thanx and anyother person too!

Welcome to the forum.

Do a search for reliability. Read through the archives and Rob's and Steve's sites -- newbie sticky.

And for the love of god, try to make it easier for people to read your posts. Use punctuation and separate your questions if you have several of them.

Thanks.

Try spellcheck & punctuation to better communicate.
Welcome to the forum, good luck with your car.

The fuel line does not run between the turbos.

Lag increases quite a bit with a non-sequential conversion. Does not help with the heat despite what people claim.

Pretty much the best way to drive one of these cars is to add a DP, aluminum AST, make sure the radiator is in good condition and otherwise leave it stock. The problem is people spend $$ on mods while ignoring the rest of the car. Old plugs, fuel filters, old coolant while spending $$ on power adding mods. And they wonder why they blow up...

I've owned 13 FDs, I know them like the back of my hand.

You need to perform rigorous maintenance with these cars, sort of like aircraft... You treat your car right, get it tuned right & it will return the favor.

hey thanks
yeah i can't spell all the great. I can talk well but putting it on paper is sometimes hard. I've went to Rob's website and it is very useful. I would like somemore input of taking the AST out. From people who have done it. Does this punctuation work a little better? And what gear, motor, and turbo oils are right for the FD? Mineral or Syn? Redline?
