Question twin turbo question : BNR stage 2 primary + stock secondary + non seq = ?

Hey,

So I'm in the middle of a non seq. build, and I got my hands on a set of bnr stage 2 turbos, the secondary was blown tho. My stock twin turbos are fine, so I'm taking the good primary bnr stage 2 and using it with my stock secondary turbo in a rich mans non seq setup. I've had no luck finding any answers to my questions about this setup by regular searching.

So my main question is
Since the bnr stage 2 turbo requires more effort to spin it vs the stock secondary turbo, will this act as a crude mechanical seq control? Allowing the secondary turbo to spool up quicker then the primary?

Will this just create turbo/boost issues?

Or will this work like any other non seq turbo setup.

Remember something like this has been done in the past, with the 20b cosmo motor, they used two different sized turbos, a smaller primary and larger secondary, I think it was a ht-10 primary, and ht-15 secondary. 13b-rew's came with ht-12 primary and secondary.

Thanks in advance for any input guys!

It would work, non sequential. Spool will be the average of two turbos running parallel.

If you were running sequential, obviously you'd want the larger turbo as the secondary.

It will probably work like any other non-seq pair. I recommend you bite the bullet and get them rebuilt by bnr.

That is pretty much what I thought, I will have these reworked by bnr next summer when I pull the motor for a full rebuild. They quoted about 1250 + shipping, so I may end up going single turbo by then tho. Thanks for the input.
