Twin turbo Cores - Value??

I replaced my twins with a pair of new J-specs and now I'm wondering what's a fair price for my old bare cores with 80,000 miles on them. I don't want get flamed when I post them on the for sale section.

Cores are usually $100-$125. If the cracking isn't too bad around the wastegate and precontrol, you could get $125.

I havent been able to sell any of the cores I have (4 sets) for $60/set. I've decided to start trying to rebuild them and sell them or use them that way, as time allows. A set of well rebuilt twins should fetch $600 easily, and the parts are only $300. Generally it's the o-rings/seals that go bad on these turbos allowing oil to pass into the intake and/or exhaust, not the shafts or bearings. Sometimes the turbine housings do have severe cracks, though, making them unusable.

That's what I suspected. Hell, for $60 I think I'll just hang them on the wall of the garage and use 'em as "shop art." Thanks for the replys.
