twin tubros
i have being looking & seaching but cant find the answer anywere, so what i need to know is the s6 & s7 tubros the same? i know mazda did some minor changes to the s7 to get 10hp more.
i mite have to get some second hand ones sone & dont want to but s6 tubros on my car if they are not as good as mine.

the series 8 had revised turbochargers in 99... series 6 and 7 are the same.
series 8 revised turbine baldes and increased the boost pressure slightly to get extra horsepower.
keep your intake elbows if you are putting on series 6 turbos - as there is a good chance your restrictors are built into the nipples rather than in your wastegate/precontrol hoses.

auckland... i knew nothing about these puppies until i popped mine.
1 rebuild later and i swear i know too much!
South Auckland generally... travel to see the missus (and how many rotarys were on the motorway after the Nats yesterday but zero FD's?!)
