It's normal, and if you perform a 'search' you'll find it's been covered before

All multi-disc clutches have a rattle when the clutch is dis-engaged (clutch pedal depressed)

OP said it rattles when engaged, not when disengaged. Maybe he said it wrong. Or maybe it is the throw-out bearing ***'y or fork, etc. rattling.

That is exactly my point. They rattle when disengaged, not engaged. If it is rattling when engaged then the problem is something else. Trans bearings, TO bearing etc.

I think it was a confusion. Probably meant engaged as his foot is engaging the pedal not that the clutch is physically engaged.

Most twin clutches make noise, I haven't heard a quiet one yet. It's sorta like finding a quiet wife, it just doesn't happen. haha

Ok maybe Im confused. When you say depressed/disengaged, Im thinking in neutral or clutch pushed in. Is that what you mean? I know that my clutch makes noises when I have it in neutral pedal up. So am I confused and were talking about when you are in gear driving its suppose to "rattle" or am I on the same page as every one else...
