Guys......come on, boost controllers are not capable of turning the boost DOWN unless they are going from a higher boost pressure back down to normal.

Uh, yes they are if you remove the restrictor pills, and turn the controller (manual) all the way down.... if you're talking electronic you're right, that controlls the selonoids and (if it fails)will snap the wastegate shut and let all the exhust through the turbos.... apex seals....

Stock boost on the FD is 10 psi. The wastegate acuator opens naturally at 7 psi, so yes, you CAN lower boost from stock with a boost controller/removing the pills.

15 & his parents got him an FD!?!

Good call ICEMAN - "If this is your first car either your parents dont like you and want you dead or they dont realize the potential of the car."

Reckon they should buy themselves a spatula & a bucket cause that's the only they'll get him off the side for the road. (& it would be MUCH cheaper than a coffin too )
