turning over and spark but not starting
Hey people ,
Have a bit of a querie, my mate has a 93 fd,
he has just recently taken the car to a panel beater to change doors and sum other work.
now the car wont start...... ?? it just turns over and wont go, the sound of the engine turning over sounds a bit different? quieter maybey,
They have checked for spark and tell me that there was spark, smells like fuel but no fuel pressure gauge so unsure of fuel pressure,
I have that he suggested that he checks all fuses, and relays, then mayb that its flooded cos the panel beater started and stopped it a few times to move it, and i had heard that that was a good way to flood the car ??? has been sitting for nearly a week and still wont go, oh and the battery has recently been disconected,
Mods are pfc, no comander or datalogit, 1 blitz blow off valve a k&n air element in air box, air pump removed so i am guessing the cat is gone, and thats bout all i know, any info would be great was also thinking of doing a diognastics check and a compression check,
Thanks mark

I worked at a shop where we had several FD's that were pulled in and out over the course of a month or so and eventually the same thing happened. PULL the plugs, clean them and reinstall. This should work.
