Turn Signal Cancellation Orientation

I just installed an aftermarket steering wheel (So much leg room now!) but I'm experience a weird click ONLY when I have my turn signal on. Visual inspection shows it is the nubs on the turn signal cancellation piece. I'm guessing I orientated the nubgs incorrectly...12/6 instead of 9/3.

Could someone confirm which is correct?

For a visual see image 4 vs image 6 in this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=turn+signal

Thank you!

12 and 6 (N and S) is the correct OEM orientation.
