turbos not boosting

hey whats up, I dont have a rx-7 but my friend does and i was wondering whats up with his turbos its vac. fine but once it hits 0 on vac to boost it stops going. Anyone have any ideas?

i would make sure there isn't a boost leak through-out the tubing, thats pretty easy to find.

You need to be a little more descriptive. Are you saying that as soon as it reaches any boost the motor stops accelerating, or the the engine keeps accelerating but the boost level doesn't rise?
