Turbo's installed

Well I got my new turbo's installed along with my polished manifold and throttle body. Took it for a ride and it ran great, running 13-15 psi boost, on my medium preset settings. Put up all my tools and got cleaned up. I got in the car to go to the car wash and the check engine light came on resulting in no boost. So I guess I am not done yet. My next move is to take it to mazda to pull the code and find out which sensor took a dump. The weird thing is that it does not come for about a minute, up to then it runs great.

Which sensor is your guess.........

Happy New Years,
André

Ps I like the new look even though I'm not done yet, maybe my wife will let me put in the living room

Check the code first. I just learned how to do this and it helped alot. However, the site I use is down.

Appreciated the site and I checked it out and got one long flash which I believe is code 10. Air Intake sensor, which I find amazing since the turbo's won't kick in, has anyone else had this experience. What's cheaper an Unzi or a sensor, lol.

Take Care and Happy New Year,
André

I was finally able to retrieve codes wednesday but I had to run the engine which was strange. I had a 12, 13, 18, and 27. The code 27, MOP failure, had put the stock PCME in the "limp" mode. So I took it down to Pettit's to get it squared away yesterday. After some diagnostics, they determined that the PCME had died which has been known to occur. They also fixed the idle problem by "correctly" installing and adjusting the TPS which I had messed up (I had completely disassembled the throttle body for polishing work). They are a good group of folks with tremendous experience and certainly know their RX's. After getting a clean bill of health on all the other mods, I was on my way.

I should receive a stock computer from them today and reconnect my Farrell piggyback ECMS. Then I will finally be able to enjoy my new turbo's!

With all that I have changed out myself, I am surprised that I haven't had more problems. I attribute that to all the help from the forum and the many "how to" sites folks have created. But even with all that help, expert help (such as Pettit's) is invaluable.

Thanks Again,
André

PS I will post pictures of the beautiful polishing work (Intake/Throttle Body), Steve at (3sxperformance.com) had done for me.
