From what I've heard it's normal to have *some* oil in some of those pipes. The first pic you posted is of that goddamn rubber coupler that gets dry and hard and doesn't seal right. Unless you plan on going w/ the Efiniy Y-pipe, replace that **** and save yourself the trouble of having oil burning on your exhaust. It's a $50 part at the dealershit and it takes about a half hour to take apart the car and replace.

As for whether your turbos are going...if there's a lot of oil in your pipes it could mean you're getting blowby. I'm still learning the technical details of this stuff, but depending on your mileage (my stock twins have ~103k miles on them) you're probably looking at your turbos going bad (though they're probably not all the way bad yet). Blowby is a condition that seems to come with your turbos getting old (experts, correct me if I'm wrong), so if I were you I'd consider starting to save for either a new set of stock twins, some hi flow twins, or a T88

im not really sure what you are talking about, if its just the oil that you see in the blow off valves and intake pipes, its totally normal! just check how much boost your getting. our turbos work by injecting a small amount oil in to the turbos to lub them and when we blow off, release gas while on boost, the blow off valves open and a little oil excapes that way and problally got sucked back in to the turbos/pipes.

the other thing is about the rubber coupler, i do agree with SanJoRX7 when he says to get a new one but i say dont get it from the dealer!!! go to homedepot to get a rubber coupler from there, they are like 2 bucks from homedepot, follow this link for more info

i have 103k on the turbos i believe but about 35k on the engine. i get 12...8...10 i have some downpipe on there. everythign else is stock. i dont htink that much oil in the intakeis normal but its not exessive amounts either. car seems to pull good. second turbo pulls harder not sure if thats supposed to be like that or if teh first turbo is nto pulling hard enouf and that is why it feels liek second one pulls harded. which turbo is primary which i ssecondary?

The symptoms sound like mine. The tell tale sign is if you blow some white oil smoke out of your tail pipe upon hard acceleration. If you do, you're burning the oil that's being blown into your intake air charge. The turbo sleeve bearings are starting to go, and allowing too much oil through the intake charge air. Mine have 92,500 miles, and I'm planning on replacing them before the racing season is under way.

For heaven's sake, don't wait to wait until they blow. You'll have bits of turbo shards blowing out of tail pipe!

with a downpipe, thats normal boost pattern and id say your turbos are fine.

by the way, why pay to have your turbos rebuilt??? just keep them till they blow and get a big single turbo upgrade, it will cost just about same but the performance will be alot better with the turbo upgrade!!!!!!
