turbonetics bolted on stock manifold
has anyone here ever heard of two turbonetics turbos that are larger than stock turbos bolted onto the stock manifold?
any info would be appreciated

Doesn't work that way. The stock manifold does not connect to individual turbine housings where you could just bolt on different turbos. It's a common exhaust housing that encloses both turbos.

BNR has built two sets with bigger turbos mated to the stock Mazda exhaust housing . He opened the exhaust houseing to take the bigger wheel and bolted the bigger cartage to the Mazda exhaust houseing . The compressor houseing is much bigger than stock . Brian has a set with mitz turbos and Garfinkle has a set with another brand .Garfinkle has spent many hours installing them useing as many of the stock pipes as possible . As one can quess all the stock parts had to be modified to fit .The install looks like stock twins are in there untill you see the size of the compressor houseing . All who have seen the finished install are impressed .How does it run ? It was started 10-31-03 ,hauled it to a car show the next day . Rotorbrain programed it 11-2-03 . tuning and driving will start after a couple of more parts are finished this week .
