I don't know where you can get SS battery tie down rods. I guess you could make some. Get the appropriate sized SS wire/bar stock and bend it in a "J" on one end, cut to length and thread the other end.

Otherwise steel ones are available at just about any parts store. Make sure to check the length before you close the hood!

Mazda has them and their pretty cheap....
