Thumbs up TurboJeff M2/Pettit Custom Crossbar

Its rare to find any new product that is truly a direct bolt in, no hassle and is so great it is basically unnoticed. However, when I find one that fits this criteria I like to write a short review thread to give it props. The last product I made a thread about was Banzai Racing's trans cross member with rubber mount, Transmission Crossmember

I recently purchased a Turbojeff Custom Crossbar for the M2/Pettit Medium IC. The piece is beautiful, fits perfectly and does exactly what it is advertised to do. The custom crossbar angles the IC core to the correct angle to match the M2/Pettit Duct. While TurboJeff advertised it for the medium IC it works perfect with my Pettit Coolcharge III. Here is the thread where I purchased it, https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...s-bar-1077223/.

I am unsure that Jeff intends or plans to make more of these but I think he should. I am old school and not a huge fan of FMICs or VMICS. The older I get, the more I like the upgrades on my car to go nearly unnoticed to the common car enthusiast. This is a great piece for anyone running the M2/Pettit ICs.

I'll get some more made. I'm currently in Vietnam and will be back soon. I expect that the lead time will be in the 3-4 wk range.

Thanks,
Jeff

Does this brace lower the IC a little bit so that the couplers don't rub the hood liner? If so, add me to the list.

I'm using coupler with the bump in the middle, and they don't rub the hood liner, do you have stock motor mount?

The IC will be in the same vertical position due to fit with the IC duct.

Yeah, original stock motor mounts. Car is original 18K miles. Pettit large SMIC, played with it a bunch and couldn't get it to sit lower.

The vendor said he would have them completed April 22nd. That is a Friday so I guesstimated that I would get them out the following week.

So they're done already?! i'm sure you mean may 22nd. It's consistent with the 3 week timeline you mentioned previously. Thanks for the update.
