Turbo Timer, who has the best one?

Who do you think makes the best turbo timer? I specificly would prefer a model that can mount in the lower DIN area below the radio.

thanks for your opinions and reasons why.

I have the HKS type-1. Works good and tells you the voltage, rpm's, peak rpm, speed (kilometers) and a few other things I havent connected. It also has some sort of 0-60 and 1/4 mile timer. Basically it does alot of **** and I don't care for most of it. Lights up blue.

The Blitz FATT and DTC are pretty good as well, they do those other things like voltage, temperature, lap times, stop watch, boost gauge and boost warning, etc..

they're all equally good in letting your turbos cool off heh, i have the a'pexi auto timer and it has o2 and a/f readings which are arguably important to monitor on the fd. just remember if you get one with a bunch of extra features you're going to have more wires to hook up. i had to tap into 2 wires from the ecu which was sort of a pain. i actually wish i just got a plain old turbo timer with only the timer function since that's all i ever use anyway. the only thing the o2 and a/f readings are really good for are worrying me.

The best one it the person sitting behind the wheel! Just use common sense when you drive and save yourself a $100.00
I have the Greddy and it doesn't have any of the nifty features that most other ones have, but I hardly use it anyway. Unless you autocross a lot or always push your car before you park it I don't think you really need one.

Oh ya, I really only use the peak rpm function and when I race it comes in handy, the highest rpm you hit is what it displays. I always shift right around 7,500 (give or take a couple hundred) and the turbo timer will read between 8 - 8100.

On the normal rpm function you can also tell how much off your stock tach is. At 2500 the timer reads 2700 from the ecu.

All of them are good and I wish I had an a/f meter in mine but they are only made for one purpose, some just have extra goodies.

I have the Greddy and I mounted it in the AC hole underneath the steering wheel. Works great but I can't figure out how to disable the music when it comes on.

I also use the greddy and have it mounted in the same location. Was a easy install (around 30min) and has worked like a charm for about a year now.
