Has anyone done this? How easy? How practical? Any problems at all?
Thanks

the only thing it does is remove all the protection and anti-polution stuff. I personnaly won't do it before i remove the cat to remove the air-pump. But to do that i need an ecu so...
You could start by removing the ast, double throttle, TB coolant, and couple of other minor things.

I just got done with the turbo simplication (also had a block-off plate kit). There's alot more room in the engine bay now. I can see all of the solenoids so I'll know if something pops off or breaks. The thought of having silicone hoses now makes me feel better, since the rubber ones were literally hard as a rock. When I cut them, they didn't cut apart like rubber should, they cracked.
