Question Turbo System Simplification

Has anyone simplified their turbo control system as outlined here - http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobi...lification.htm ? It seems like a real nice way to make things easier to troubleshoot and maintain without loosing the sequential system. You loose a lot of emissions crap, but I really don't care about that too much. For those of you who've done it, got any tips or pointers on the procedure? TIA.
