Turbo Smoking
Hi all, seeking some help to identify why my turbo is smoking so much.
Once it gets up to temp, it smokes like this (see video attached).
This is right after shutdown.

Relatively new install by the looks of that cap on the v-band clamp still being intact, could be anti-seize burning off maybe if so? The noise is the thermo fan I take it, does the smoke have a particular smell?
If I was you, putting it on ramps or on a hoist, observing from underneath rather than attempting to guess, would be my course of action.......but water supply banjos plus oil drain might be worth a check though.....
Lens probably distorted the image, the fire sleeve on the oil supply looks a touch close to the turbine housing, appears to be room to clock it further away.

Turbo is not a new install where it has been smoking for some time now, just gotten progressively worse. I just installed a smaller oil feed reducer (0.03 from 0.035”) thinking it might be flooding which is why that fitting looks fresh. I’ll try tightening the oil return and coolant connections though, may make sense if started to loosen.
