Turbo remove/replace....any good writeups?

Does anyone have a good writeup or link to for a turbo install? I'm replacing my leaky stock turbos this week.

Thanks

To take them off:
First remove your intake and intake pipes. Then remove the crossover tube that leads to the intercooler. Then the y-pipe. Now you should be able to see the heat shield over the turbos. Make sure you drain your oil and coolant. Remove the coolant and oil lines going to the turbos and from the turbos. Remove all hoses that connect to the turbos or the actuators. Remove the...ummm...(whats the name of that thing under the turbos...crap!!...someone help me out here) well you have to remove that too Then you have to take off the 8 bolts that hold on the turbos and slide them out. I think that was it. I am in the middle of putting mine back on and it is a PITA!!! I keep forgetting stuff so I had to take them off and put them back on 3 times now. Very frustrating.

Take your time and take lots of pictures. Maybe write out as you do stuff so you remember to do it in reverse order (like a check list). Otherwise you will be like me and forget stuff

Hey, alright I just spent 2 1/2 hours for nothing!! I got everything back together again and dropped a nut down in the secondary turbo outlet!!

always remember to cover the openings with rags and be careful not to drop stuff. I hope you can learn from me and not do this crap. Good luck my friend!

oh oh, pm me and I will send you a shop manual...should help you out

You can try to get the nut out with a magnet, i did that one time and i got it out with a magnet. But then again my engine was on an engine stand and all i really had to do was turn the engine upside down.
