turbo rebuild kit?

my mech said that he is 99% sure that I need a rebuild for my turbo(s). Hasn't diagnosed it yet, as to which one or both may be failing. He's guessing that bearings are loose. Either way, he said that a rebuild would be the option that he would recommend, and he can order a rebuild kit, Im not sure from where, or how much it costs, but I was wondering what u guys thought. Should I get it rebuilt? or just get new (rebuilt) ones? keep in mind price and reliability, bang for the buck kinda thing.

Check out BNR racing. Heard REALLY good things about his rebuilds... gotta send him cores, though. Search for BNR turbo rebuild and so forth

Duh... just look at the top of the website...

Someone is also selling the IHI rebuild kits in the for sale forum for like 225 shipped for the pair. Normally they are 150 each.

You can almost get new ones for that much, so no, that is not a good price. Send them to BNR like spurvo said, it'll cost half the price and they specialize in 3rd gen turbos so they know what they are doing.
