Turbo Question/ Rusty lines

The link below is a picture of the steel/ whatever metal they were before they rusted and i was wondering when i'm doing the vacuum hose job if i should just these lines or should i just run tubes up to where they need to be? I'm also doing the tubo simplifacation at the same time.

also another concern is that the bar going from the acuator to the wastegate is rusty and i can not get it to move. A problem i had with my turbo before i started doing my vacuum job was that i was only getting 10lbs of boost. Does it look like i'm missing anything ? Any help would be great.

Thanks

Of course, there really isnt a way of knowing how far into the pipethe rust reallygoes through. It won't be a problem until a hole develops on them allowing pressure to vent, but it looks more like surface rust than anything else.

I think you should try taking them off, wire brushing them clean, and then painting them.

The rod you are referring to is pretty hard to move by hand. Try connecting a vacuum pump to the actuator to ensure that it moves. I have specs on how much pressure shold be applied to them. Let me know if you need them.
