I replaced all my turbo lines and now when the second turbo should kick in there is a sound like a large leak. Not a hissing sound but a load Shhhhhh. I have checked all the lines and they seem to be all correct. What could be wrong

I have loud axx hissing sound comming out from my turbo, Its probably screaming out for rebuild, but it sounds soo damn cool....haha

generally the noise you describe is created by a leak downstream from the turbos primary air output towards the engine... a loose clamp at the intercooler or between the intercooler and the throttle body.

good luck... it is generally relatively easy to fing.

I had something similar happen. It ended up being the vacum chamber that was attached to the UIM. It had a crack in it and blew more hot air than the average woman.
