I've been having some problems with my fd turbos, I really don't know if it's the turbos or not.
The car feels weak when I punch it, it feels as it is going no where quick, the RPMs slowly go up and then all of a sudden(sometimes) at around 5k rmps I feel extra bust and my kar just takes off quick. But like I said it only does it once in a while and only on 2nd and 3rd gear. I don't know what it could be. The car runs perfect under normal conditions . HELP
Would getting a single turbo solve my problems and if so what turbo do you guys recomend for decent power but not exagerating

 

Getting a single turbo might solve that problem, but it will definitely create another problem (called empty wallet). You need more to make a single turbo work than just the turbo itself.

Having said that, do you have a boost gauge?

 

Ive seen some single turbos on e bay go for as littlle as 400 with BOV, wastegate header. but no i dont have a boost gage

 

Going single is far, far, from being an eBay kit.

You need a boost gauge if you want to start diagnosing this problem yourself.

You should see a good rotary shop if you just want to get it fixed.
