Turbo housing reassembly torque specs needed...

Hi folks,

After having taken the twins assembly apart to port the wastegate, the time has come to bolt it all back together...only I can't find the torque specs anywhere.

I'd love any input on what the following bolts should be torqued to:

1) The 12-14 mm (memory fuzzy) bolts that hold the wastegate housing to the other turbo housing.

2) The six 10mm bolts that secure the flanges that actually hold the turbo in place

3) The oil lines & coolant lines.

Any input is welcome. Thanks!

- Phillip

Since I will probably make a mistake interpreting your items 2 and 3, I will simply refer you to page F-91 of the FSM.

The torque specs for items holding the two housings together is not specified since Mazda does not recommend disassembling the turbos. However, I recommend 20ft-lb since it's similar material and size to the 10mm stud holding the turbos to the manifold, and Mazda lists that one at 16-22ft-lb.
