Turbo Hose Stock vs Simplified

Just wondering if there are any ill effects when converting the turbo system on the stock rx7 from the stock vacum hose set up to the simplified hose set up?

Does boost still kick in the same? same power band etc??

The simplified diagram that I posted is ok? is it just as simple as running the hoses like the diagram says?

Why wouldnt have mazda done this in the first place?

IIRC, the simplified routing removes the emissions control. So, that would be why Mazda didn't do it originally.

That depends on what your test involves. Each area is different. As you can see form the diagram:

The ACV is eliminated which is part of the emissions system. IMO, it's not really worth it. There is no performance gain, it's all cosmetic.

Ok on the 2 diagrams i posted up
could someone please tell me where the

this hose goes?

It is attached to the y pipe and it is peach color in the simplified diagram and it just gets cut off

in the actually stock vacuum hose set up it is a blue hose and it is connected to the Check valve from the y pipe connector

Whatever you remove, needs a blockoff plate. The ACV is removed in that diagram (as well as a few other things), so you need a plate for that.
